Hello!!
I am not a new gardener nor am I newly interested in house plants. I love my plants, and know how to take care of them...most of the time
however, I am trying to root newly grown spider plant babies, and have had great success in the past. I recently cut several of my babies from the mother plant, which had roots beginning and popped them into a small clear glass of water while I managed some of my other plants. However, one of the spider babies is not growing any roots. The plantlet is very healthy and green, and the other two babies have long roots. But this one has no roots growing at all. They've been growing for about two weeks now, and I am wondering if this baby just isn't going to survive? Can anyone tell me if this spider baby will eventually grow roots or if I should just put it into soil now? It no longer has the nodules that were on it when I originally cut it from the mother plant. If there is a way to ensure a root will grow I would really love to save this baby!! Thank you I'm advance!!
