I finally had a couple of minutes after the visitors left today to take a couple of photos. These I thought you might like to take a look... I just thought these were kinda different. I will have to try to take some more once I get through the shipping.
I have enjoyed seeing the blooms being posted by Michelle, Dorothy, and everyone else for that matter.
Hope you don't mind me joining in.....

Karen

and finally a little friend I found in amoungst the seedlings...

This next one you need to open up to see just what it was like - its too cool (I think) I had to bring the flower home with me

Hi, Karen. It is SOooo good to see you posting here. I love seeing the seedlings and wish I could come to Mecca again this year. I agree that the eye of the first one is very different, but the second one has all sorts of things going on. I wonder if it will do this every bloom. If so, you may have a winner! Please continue to post photos.

Hi Karen,
WOW! Your plants are so wonderful. I love the most unusual eye on the first one. The eye is so awesome that I like'd to have missed the unusal color. I don't even know where to start saying what part I like best because I like it all. The veins are what jumps at me first. Is this the first bloom for it this year? If it's like this all the time, it will be a much sought for plant. I'm quite sure every one on here will be wanting one.

The second one looks huge and loaded with ruffles in all the right places.

I'm a sucker for tree frogs. We will only see one ocassionally around here. We might here one at night but they usually do a good job of hiding. We had one for 3 years every Spring he would show up on our front door(it's glass) and stay until cool weather of Fall. He caught more bugs than anything! Gosh, that's been 10 years ago. Boy how time flies when you are growing daylilies!!!

I welcome you back to our site and hope that you will visit as often as possible. We are really just a bunch of addicted daylily fanatics!!! Blessings to you and your family, Mona (please, feed our addictions with many many more photos nodding )

Hi Ann, Debra & Mona

Thanks for the comments - yes I will try to put us some more, today was the first day I've had time - its been a busy few months shipping, finally getting lots of blooms and there are so many seedlings that sometimes you can miss them! But I will try to post some more photos over the next few weeks.

The first one is so unusual I agree - I asked Guy if I could post it because it was so different.

Both are just new seedlings first blooms today - planted from seed in September/October last year.

I will post some more....

Thanks
Karen

I too absolutely love the second seedling - I am a sucker for bright colors (and frogs!) but that first one is very interesting. Would love to see it in person someday.

My great big thing from yesterday was doing it again today: It actually has Guys "Cuttling Loose" in it...

I can understand how you might miss a few with all those seedlings demanding attention. Each plant must scream "Look at ME!" Hilarious!
