Easlea's Golden Rambler. It's a blossom that arrived with the rose.

Thrips and deer permitting, I'll take more soon.
Some shots of the garden and its iris can be found at the Southwest Gardening forum.

I have a found rose called Mr. Nash that Easlea's Golden Rambler was thought to be one possibility. This picture does a good job of showing me that Easlea's Golden Rambler is not the same rose as Mr. Nash.

It's from Vintage Gardens Roses. I'd have posted the photo of Titian, too, but it came out really blurry. Ditto Hobby and Permanent Wave. I need to remember to use my real camera for close-ups of roses.

I was surprised by the size of the flower. I imagined that most ramblers had flowers that were one or two inches across, but this flower was certainly three, possibly four inches across. It also had a delightful tea smell, even as it lay desiccated on my desk two days after being plucked. Finally, for ID purposes, I noticed that the flower had several guard petals around the stamens: I didn't count, maybe it was four or five. There are only a few roses on which I have noticed guard petals. Bishop Darlington is the only other one that comes to mind.

Here are two more from a recent VG order. Casino and ... I forgot until I looked it up. Anyone want to guess? The flower is just less than three inches across and very sweetly fragrant.

Sorry guys, cannot get photo upload to work. toooooooooooo muuuuuuuuuuuuch waiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiting...

Posted them here .

How very curious. I posted them. I checked the link yesterday and it worked. I checked the link right now and it worked. What do you guys get? Is the text there?

I've also posted the photo of the mystery rose here: http://www.helpmefind.com/rose...

Steve - this is what we see. You see the pix 'cuz you've got it cached. If you F5, that'll uncache it & refresh it, then you'll probably see this too.

Toni. I cleared my cache and it still worked. I looked at the SMF file structure. I found the photo files had been properly uploaded to SMF. I deleted the photo files. It stopped working at my end. Then I started over. No reason to believe this will work any better for you ... but I cannot replicate the problem. Sorry for the mixup. I'll just post photos to HMF until both of these sites are working smoothly.

When I clicked on the link, I got sent to a casino site.
I immediately ran my Kaspersky anti virus but it didn't find anything.
My computer has been acting weird since my girls used it, though. I have a new, unwanted search engine that acts like a virus, and I've not been able to restore at all.It tried and said system restore had an error. I disabled and removed the new add-ons, and they came right back. Tomorrow the computer will go back to Geek Squad for a checkup.

Steve - nope, not on my end. I just tried Chrome, Firefox, Safari, & IE on two different computers (I'm using my DH's mac laptop for most of my evenings & my Win7 PC at work during the day) and no pictures. Sad This is what I got.

Steve, are you logged in to that site when you see the pictures? I'm just wondering if it could be a permission thing. It wouldn't be the first time I've encountered that on a site, or made that mistake myself on one of my sites.

Yeah, that's what I'm thinking. And I'm wondering what Steve would see if he wasn't logged in to it and came to as an outside user like us.
