I have a love-hate relationship with FLR! It was my first toothy daylily too. I love those teeth and the color of it. Very short here. Closer to 24 inches here I would guess. Very slow to increase for me. I agree with Glen that the plant in general never looks very vigorous. I almost got rid of it this year. It will be evaluated yearly. I am now at the point of if something new comes, something must leave. This one could lose its spot eventually.
