We were at a wood stork and egret rookery in New Port Richey, Florida. All our shots were free hand through or over an 8' chain link fence. It is located just off Hwy. 19 in an old containment pond with a cypress grove in the one end. We got some very nice pics of both species. The photo of the egret preening was the best of a series of shots of him showing off.
