I do not have this cultivar, but I do have several seedlings from it as the pod parent. Of course the seedlings I have, used another red bloom cultivar to cross with it (Mama's Cherry Pie). I get compliments on the blooms when people see them. The red with the white bordered petals is such a pretty contrast. Some of mine are well above the foliage, so the MCP pollen parent must be providing the height for some of my seedlings. The scapes are some of the sturdiest of any seedlings I grow.

Note: I saw in the database that someone named "Otte" registered several seedlings of this same cross. Only one registration has a photo though. (sigh) Why do hybridizers do that? Register and name a cultivar (2003) yet provide no photos in the AHS database.
