Keyleigh, I don't see any harm in donating seeds, I'm sure people would greatly appreciate that! My recommendation is to join the swap, offer up the seeds you'll be donating (please note that you'll still be paying your own shipping to get the seeds here, of course), and just don't request any for yourself during the swap. If you don't request any for yourself, you won't need to contribute the $7 fee. If, after the swap starts, you get tempted by all of the goodies being offered up, you can change your mind and become a 'fully participating' member and just remember to send in the $7 like everyone else. You have the flexibility of deciding whether to 'fully' join or just donate.
