I was told today that they are good for keeping mice away. I don't know if that's true or not, but it sounds good.

No rain in Wichita either. Sad They're saying maybe Friday. My fingers are crossed. I am sick of watering too.

Updating about our possum, it ended up being two, a mom and a young one. We only would see them when we came home in the evening, but then it dropped down to one. We think it was Mr. Great Horn. I would leave out a piece of fruit and it was eaten. In the snow, I saw its tracks. Well, Mr. Great Horn came back along with his lady, waking me up with their calling from our trees. Since then, I've not seen any signs of a possum. :(

We also have short-tailed shrews, but haven't seen a live one yet. They were attracted to peanut butter on a mouse trap. Bummer... For the time being, the mouse traps were put away until we see signs of mice actually causing damage or getting feed in one of our sheds. We had put the traps out as a preventative measure.

Welcome, Sally. Welcome! As you know, I am still at the other place. The appearance of the changes was drastic, but I am trying to get used to it. I sure hope they have fixed a couple of the more annoying bugs.
