That's a beautiful lily, Sassafrass - and yes, i love them, but the ones i have are not yet blooming; maybe I have some late varieties, don't know what the varieties actually are (they originally came from some kind of "bargain bag"). I guess daisies would be blooming like crazy right now, but we have so many wild ones around I can't seem to bring myself to grow them in the flower bed. I'm going to have to drive around looking for flowers that are blooming and find out what they are! Normally i fill in the perennial bed with some annuals but didn't do so this year and I'm feeling the loss!
