I haven't seen this mentioned yet so I will add a couple of tips.
Tip 1: One of the most important features of the swap is the wishlist. I'm not talking about post your wants in a thread but your private wishlist feature. If you haven't done so, go to the swap home page and click on » Access the full tradelist for this swap. You will now see a list of all seeds offered in this swap and above each plant name is a row of stars. To create your wishlist simply click on these stars. You can rate the plants from one to five star, with five being the ones you want the most. After selecting your wishes go back to the swap home page and you will see a new line the says » Access your wishlist for this swap with the number of plants your have in the list, click on that to see your list. Not only does this give you a list of plants you want but once the swap starts you will be able to make your picks directly from this list without having to goes through the main list.
Tip 2: Also on the swap home page is a link that says » View recent events for this swap. This is a record of events that occur from the creation of the swap to the end, such as when a new plant is added to the swap and when plants are picked. Members can add new seeds to the swap up to the very end. Rather than having to scroll through the entire swap list to check for new listing, go to the events page and you will not only see what new plants have been add, but you can also add them to your wishlist directly from this page. Also during the swap you will be able to see when someone picks a pack of seeds. It can be interesting to see what others are going for and also may bring your attention to a plant that you overlooked while going through the main list.
