May the new year give us all the strength and the desire to be who we should be, doing what we should be doing, politically correct or not. You are right, Anni.

Philip, we had a tree to uproot in the easement behind me, some limbs from other trees, but no damage here to my home. The wind was fierce and the rain blew sideways into my windows that face west. The was roof damage a flew blocks away but the biggest problem was flooding. We are very near the Tennessee River, it runs parallel to our town. I live on a little knoll so my home is safe from the river but there is an underground spring located near where the uprooted tree is, so when it rains and the ground is saturated as it is now, the water comes to the surface and washes down my side yard. It's just a mess but it doesn't happen very often.

I'm thinking I might need to build an ark. Smiling

Merry Merry Christmas . . . I just returned from dinner with friends and the full moon on the lake is incredibly beautiful. It's about 60*F. Unbelievable weather for Christmas.
