'Eight Miles High' is a evergreen tetraploid introduced in 2003 by Ludlow Lambertson. Ludlow and his wife, Rachel, hybridize daylilies at "Art Gallery Gardens" in Lake Helen, Florida. See their website at:

Eight Mile High is mid-season bloomer with possible rebloom. It has earned the Honorable Mention: 2009 AHS awards. It is both pod and pollen fertile with 11 registered children:
