Sharon, thanks for sharing that Christmas story. I can never get enough of the stories of you, and Ninna, and Aunt Bett in those years you were growing up in the Appalachian Mountains. Absolutely warms the heart every time.
Weather was uncommonly warm and we had horrific rains here in Virginia yesterday as well. Actually had the windows open last night - first time ever for December!!! I was able to see and enjoy the full moon after a round robin of visits to my family that started on Christmas Eve with appetizers, continued on Christmas morning with breakfast, and ended up on Christmas Day for dinner. Had a nice holiday and am glad you did too.
