Personally, I think Double Orange and Double Apricot are the exact same thing. I have a sneaky suspicion that a lot of the same plants get different names because flower color can be influenced by temperature, water (as in how much chlorine or fluoride or other constituents), soil pH, angle of the sun and a myriad of other factors.

Unless there are other factors that show a distinct difference in morphology other than color, it's almost impossible to correctly label some plants.
Human beings, who are almost unique in having the ability to learn from the experience of others, are also remarkable for their apparent disinclination to do so.
