My personal experience with Bee's Bliss is growing it in a dry, subtropical Sunset zone 23 setting. Checking online to see what else may be said about it, I see that Kermit at FBTS sttates that it can be difficult to grow....PlantLust states that it's minimum temp zone would be 7a. Excellent drainage would be a must with this one. I have no personal experience with mulching salvias against cold. so can't speak to that either......maybe someone else has successfully grown it in your area and will speak up.
I could be wrong...
and.....
"maybe I should have kept my mouth shut....."
