Hostasmore=Gary. I live in the small town of East Bethel MN. About 40 min north of St. Paul.
When I first moved to this house had a dismal lawn due to too much shade. Became addicted to hostas and have over 400 cultivars.Intersts have grown to include lilies daylilies and dahlias with lesser amounts of other perennials. the lawn grows smaller each year as the gardens grow. I do grow a small vegetable garden. Love fresh tomatoes ,cucumbers,beans and peppers.Not sure how many dahlias I have now but it took me about 3 days to get them all dug. I store them as clumps in an unheated closet on the north side of my home.
