I struggle with thyme, but have found the red creeping to be reliable for me. Perennial herbs that do well in my zone 8: horseradish, melissa, bee balm, echinacea, sea holly, lovage, helenium, comfrey, fleabane, fennel, garlic

More iffy herbs: rosemary, any in the artemesia family, lavenders, arnica did well for about 3 years then just went away, ajuga, horehound, curry plant
I want to live in a world where the chicken can cross the road without its motives being questioned.
