I was one of the first 300 contributors to the plant database!
I also bury a small plastic tag with each plant. I print it out, put the tape on the small white plastic marker and then bury with the plant. Most of the time I get two markers out of one label by cutting them in half. I have also used blinds to bury names on. Any time they're under the soil, they will not fade. I recently dug up a label I placed with a rose bush 14 years ago. It was in perfect condition. You can also include the date planted when you bury the tag. It was fun to see the tag after all those years. Smiling
