You're lucky to be able to grow exotics, I once bought a huge sea bean seed (red flowers) with hopes of growing it but it rotted. I have to be happy with plants which will grow here happily, and there are several which can't be grown in warmer climates but that doesn't stop me from wanting to grow everything. Hilarious!
