This can become quite an impressive plant if given enough space. This one is growing on the north side, is about 20+ years old, and gets a serious pruning every spring. If not, I think it would have long ago completely covered the barn, including the roof! Nice hardy climber, but beware that is hangs on with suckers that dig into wood and leave worm-like trails when pruned. I don't mind on our rustic barn, but it may be problematic on other structures.

I want to live in a world where the chicken can cross the road without its motives being questioned.
