Ferns are like the backbones of the shade garden. The Painted ferns really offer some great colour and texture as well. I just have the regular Japanese Painted Fern but would like to add Burgundy Lace. Lots of Ostrich Fern here as its so hardy but it's spreading tendencies can be a headache. I acquired a few Lady Ferns last year including the Tatting Fern that is quite interesting. Hope it does well. Would love to see some pics of Ghost and Godzilla; added to my ever increasing wish list, lol.
