We had an exceptional November and December.I couldn't believe I was out looking at an old spot that needed a change due to tree cutting.
The Chatham Hosta garden normally is part shade because of the fir trees.

Two trees were cut due to disease.
This garden has always been the stepchild and often had spotty care.
We were also having sidewalk work done to the front ,there were slate slabs left over so I used some to make a path in front of the two iron seats.

New path and planting notes, mostly sedums for cracks and a few hostas for the path borders.

My SIL hauled the stone and placed them. This will be the first year I will contract for outside garden help. Just turned 80 in Jan. Gotta face it,it's just too hard to do everything especially cleaning spring and fall.
