I just love the color and form of Seminole Wind! The description "pink self with green throat" implies a daylily with a simply look to it. But sometimes that just gives a daylily more elegance. That's how I feel about SW. Sometimes it even appears to have a bitone quality to it, as in the photo Petruske added to this thread.
It obviously must have some quality that the hybridizers like, because it has 163 child plants!
The database says that SW shows susceptibility to rust, but I have not had a problem with it. It has not multiplied well, but as you can see in the picture, it is between a Miss Kim lilac and a St. John's Wort shrub, so it gets a lot of shade. I've had it since 2009 and it is still probably only 4 fans or so. Branching and bud count, maybe 2-way with 10 buds (pure guess).
