I too have had Autumn Minaret for over 10 years. Each year the impressive height towers above my head. Like gemini_sage said the stems never blow over. I have Autumn Minaret planted in a full sun open space and it isn't protected from any winds. A plus for me, I suppose due to its height, is that the deer have never ate this daylily. I have used it hybridizing, it is harder to set pods on but I feel I should keep trying as I really enjoy the late blooms and the overall hardiness of the plant. This one will be one that will never leave my garden.
