It's so hard to tell without being able to view the leaves closer. I tried to zoom in on the photo in that link but couldn't really tell much about leaf shape, size etc.

I'm thinking some of the trees with white bark that I saw in San Diego might have been Eucalyptus. I've zoomed in on the leaves of those trees in my above photos and the trees in the center photo aren't the same as the ones on either end. The trees in the first and third pictures may be the Moreton Bay ficus:
