Re: Snow ... I've only had to deal with what I consider serious snow twice since I moved up here in '04. At this elevation, snow only sticks around for a day or so. Of course, everything about living in the mountains is all about micro-climates. If you happen to live in a snow belt, you would be dealing with more snow than I have had in my garden.
I'd rather weed than dust ... the weeds stay gone longer.
