Name: Taylor
Ohio, zone 5
I love Araceae
Dracaena sanderiana most commonly known as 'Lucky Bamboo'

It is not related to bamboo at all, bamboo is a grass.

In the wild this species has adapted to seasonal floods, this is why they can grow in nothing but water easily. (but still eventually decline)

They will be more lucky if grown in soil (you may even see a flower)

Thumb of 2010-08-29/Taylor696/13ec8d
D.sansevieria (variegated)

I only have a variegated one and 5 of the more common pure greens. (all of the green ones are growing in my Vivarium)

My mom is the queen of this plant, she has alot of them! It is the only thing she can keep alive. Rolling my eyes.
