Lin, thanks for the link. I think what it might be is a Barking Tree frog, with the spots gone to blend in w/the corn leaf.

(In my family we have the famous "Carolina Barking Spider" but I assure you it doesn't refer to any spider ya'll might know.) :>)

Vic, I'll holler if the Kandy Korn comes in this year and I beat the deer to it! Would make for a nice end of August get-together, eh?
