The first time I saw fuchsia was in Germany -- they were in window boxes and in one of the parks (shaped into standards) and they were covered in huge blooms! Needless to say, my friend and I were hooked! We had to get them into our garden so we found some online and ordered the drought-tolerant ones for our area, at least that's what they said. But unfortunately, they soon perished.

Then they were offered at Wal-mart and a local nursery in small 4" pots a few years ago but haven't seen them since. Last month a local nursery have them in a hanging basket but I haven't gone back to check on them.
