Annie, I started getting "flutters" in my heart back in December, after going through a lot of grief and stress in the latter half of 2015. I have had EKG and holter monitor tests, and am scheduled for an echocardiogram soon. My family doctor told me I have atrial fibrillation, and made it sound like a death sentence unless I took blood thinner tablets (which have horrendous side effects). Luckily, I sought a second opinion from a naturopathic doctor, who pointed out that the reports on my EKG and holter monitor results indicated that my atrial fibrillation was not severe and should be self-correcting. I don't need to medicate, just relax, eat properly, get regular exercise (I guess exercise is not an issue for you, as you work so hard in your garden!), and maybe take a diet supplement to boost thyroid and adrenal glands since stress takes a toll on those. I hope the reports on your tests will be encouraging. Don't be bullied into taking medication that you don't need!
