Oh how I love Maui. There is a Botanical Garden on the Hana Hwy (Haiku) about half way to Hana, called "The Garden of Eden". Well worth the time and such a large number of different plants and trees to see.

Lahaina is a marvelous Town and a must see. We usually stay in Kihei. Is about 3/4 - 1 Hr. drive from Kihei. Spectacular town.

The Maui Swap Meet on the College grounds in Kahalui close to main Airport is so special. Close to 150 vendors with produce, fruit, art, crafts, plants, etc. I believe it starts at 7:00a.m. - 12:00 or 1:00p.m. on Saturdays. We have got some wonderful art and always our place to get fresh fruit and veggies. Wonderful homemade jams and jellies from fruit on Island.

There is a beautiful Cactus & Succulent Nursery on your way to Haleakalā and it was closed when we got there. Looked unbelievable and I almost was tempted to try and get in. So disappointed.

Now I want to go so badly. Thanks a bunch, Kadie Smiling Sighing!
