You're right on track; I think it got an official new name not long ago. It's still referred to as an Abyssinian Glad a/o Acidanthera. Gladiolus callianthus 'Murieae' is now used.
I don't think its Lucky Star (but then again, I don't even know what Lucky Star looks like without referring it)...no pics of Lucky Star in the db here.
