You can look online for "miniature plants". There are a few sites that will give you some ideas. I guess it really depends on if you are going to keep it inside or out. There are some really nice miniature succulent plants, I use them a lot in my fairy gardens. Not sure what you can grow in zone 7, I don't hard freeze here. As for little goodies any art and craft store will have some finds, there are also online sources. A fun thing to do is make stepping stones, mushrooms, fountains and such with clay. The kind you bake works well and seems to hold up outside for many years. You can also use the glass blobs and beads to make mushrooms and such. Kids like the colorful rocks you can get at the dollar store. My grand-daughter loves putting the little rocks in the miniature wagon and bucket!
