My daughter, Aina, has 3 huge clumps of Montauk Daisies . She has had them for several years.
They DO grow into small shrubs--very lg. clumps. She wants to dig up 2 of these clumps
and give them away. Mind you--these may weigh 30-40lbs each. Lots of soil attached...
Someone could claim one of these root-clumps and share it by cutting it apart too.
She is keeping one of the3 clumps, but cutting it way down to the nubs.
I will take some of the new-growth cuttings from this clump and root them for the swap--and other people.
They are like rooting Autumn Sedum. Easy-Peazy---Never fails.
Is there anyone interested in one of these BIG root-clumps of the Montauk daisy???? LMK.
I have to be careful--as i always ride up with SallyG and her DH. So does Robin (Catbird) and maybe coleup.
Space may be limited. I am sure I will have a lot of small plants to bring as well--even if I always dream
of just arriving with nothing to trade and just enjoying the Party. NEVER happens!!!
Not sure about coleup--even though she just posted on DG re her dysfunctional Freezer.
