Thank you Phyllis. They are awesome. I was thinking they were something totally different.
So simple but yet so effective. If you don't mind, I'd like to copy your design. I don't have a table saw so I think a 4X8 plywood might work as well.

I have four 4ft plant lights (full spectrum) in my studio keeping my plumerias going over the winter. I've read about using two different bulbs, but can't actually remember which ones I read about.

Anne, I like your idea of the Masonry ladders. I have some morning glory that climb really high that would just love those archers as well as my sweat peas. I just might give those a try instead of a trellis.

As for growing vegetables, I'm going to try a hydroponic system incorporated with a NFT rail system. I've also tried to grow outdoors as well and like you, I've always just got a few vegetables to harvest before bugs took over. This year, I have Neem Oil to help me go the all natural route.
