I prefer Southern field green cow peas cooked with a little bacon or ham
Sometimes mixed with okra,corn,butterbeans/limas,and tomatos.Gotta have jalapeno corn bread with both.
We call garden green peas English peas here
I only like them in soups,stews or pot pies.
