I bought this because it's the name of my elder daughter. Interestingly, it's a sport from 'Anne' (though I don't have the 'e' on my name). 'Anne' is a sport from 'Francee'.

This is a medium-sized hosta and the seeds it produced are fertile. I've not had any really interesting seedlings, but my daughter has one that really is a lovely, though solid green, plant. The white margins are on cupped leaves, but they are also slightly prone to drawstring effect if the spring is very wet; so I'm careful to withhold fertilizer until it has fully leafed out. It holds up well through the season. Please feel free to post your own pics of this hosta.
