Andre, I don't think any idea is a bad idea! I was trying to visualize what you were wanting, though, and wasn't real clear on the concept perhaps. I have categorized My List into general type of plants (tree, shrub, perennial, etc.) and also by characteristics (medicinal, fragrant, native, etc.). I can assign each entry more than one category, e.g., common yarrow is assigned Perennial, Native, and Medicinal. I could do a search under any of those categories and have it pop up, and I can also just limit my search to the Achillea genus, which would bring up four entries. I think once you start playing around with the existing structure, you can customize it to suit your own personal needs. Before I began My List, I poked around at other members' My Lists to see how they structured their personal lists and got some good ideas from that. Best of luck, and welcome to ATP. Deb
