Hmmmm.....I don't even know what "southern peas" are, so I guess my answer is green. *Blush*
I grow shelling peas (which some call "english" peas) and snow peas, which probably don't fall in to either of your categories. What can you expect from a northerner, and a city girl at that???? Hilarious!
