Name: Daisy I Reno, Nv (Zone 6b) Not all who wander are lost
The problem I have found with cutting parts off is that if you cut into living tissue, more of the branch will die as it scabs over. If the part you want to cut off is dried up, then cut it off. But leave some of the dried up part on.
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and proclaiming...."WOW What a Ride!!" -Mark Frost
