I believe that the pot needs to be 1/3 the diameter of the plant's spread. Meaning, if you have a 12 in. African Violet, it needs a 4 in. pot. It makes them look too large for the pot, but that's the recommendation I've read.
Is there a reason you feel that they need repotted, as in, are they drying out too fast?
