Sue - Thanks for that reminder. I have left the empty spots alone for now...... in desperate hope that they do emerge (especially my seedling and Calgary Stampede). So far, nothing to indicate that there is anything left. Slight mounds where they each once were have disappeared as if the roots have died and the soil mound has deflated. So I am holding on to hope, but not feeling very confident about them reappearing at this point.

I will say though that I have several that went completely dormant this year in other raised beds (seedlings) and they are poking their leaves up now after I figured they might be gone, too. So who knows?
