DND, I definitely sent seeds that were dried quite a bit longer than 1 day and she didn't reject them. As long as they don't look like little raisins they should be fine.
Even if you don't have any old seeds to give consider making some crosses this year just to donate. I have more seeds than I can ever grow but I like hybridizing so I'm planning on doing crosses for the seed bank.
