Life is "mind over matter". If I d
Yehudith--
Something id picking apart my Camellia bloom buds!!! Birds?

I keep finding shredded bits of the fat bloom buds on my steps. This has happened before.
Not sure who is to blame? Too tall for squirrels. BUT??? They can climb. BUT-- I think it is birds...
They are quite present in the shrubs in front of my house. Maybe they are nesting in my Boxwood--
Hemlocks--or Yews. All close to the house. Or--just using the shrubs for shelter.

My camellia bush is tall. wide and old. It usually blooms in March. The buds are already showing color.
The soon-to-open buds are the size of a big, round grape. I hate to lose them......

Anyone interested in a big root clump of Montauk Daisies? ASAP--DD is putting it on Free Cycle.
Aina (my DD) is going to dig up 2 of these massive clumps. The 3rd one--she is keeping, but gave me
a bunch of 6"-7" tip cuttings to root. These will root anywhere....

BTW--Montauk daisies look like regular Shasta daisies--but they bloom in October. Very sturdy and hardy.
They make big clumps in no time....Like these....Thy are ineluctable..
