I just saw Sluggo in the local nursery a day ago and almost bought it because it says it is organic and OMRI approved, but I have a hard time with the idea of killing slugs. I'd rather deter them and make them want to avoid the area, instead, which I've heard that coffee grounds are supposed to do. I tried it late last year around a few strawberry plants and it seemed to work, but I'm going to try to use it early this year around all of my strawberry plants to get a better feel for how effective it really is.
