I never refrigerate my tomatoes or onions, they set in a wicker basket on the kitchen counter. I heard the same thing about onions lose flavor
in the fridge, I buy small onions so I use the whole onion and have nothing that has been leftover or once sliced you would have to put in the fridge.
You can complain because roses have thorns, or you can rejoice because they have roses!
