Ken, I got several interesting posts to my FB thread...one of them ( Jim Roberts from Fl. SouthCoast Orchids)said that
" There is no such thing as C. intermedia 'Pine Knot' . Even though it is so named. They all were mis labeled. "
his recollection is that it was incorrectly awarded and subsequently cloned with that erroneous name. He even took best of class with that orchid and it's wrong name at a show years ago.
Regarding my top photo..C Olivia..another person wrote that it's a primary cross between C. intermedia x trianae by none other than Veitch.....who I guess was a big deal in 1897 when it was registered....
So..I'm not sure what to call the plant that's on the bottom..the one that you have in inventory.
