I am new to growing clematis. I have one of the purple bell shaped flower. This is its 3rd year growing. I just cut this one back to about 12 inches, I didn't notice that green leaves were starting, before I cut it back. It is now April. Yesterday was in the high 60's. Last night it snowed. Zone 6. Should this plant be fertilized?
When? Now? please advise. thank you.
