'Eleanor Lachman' was new to me July 2012 and I acquired it in memory of a friend named Eleanor. It is a small hosta with an open, semi-upright mound. The clump has leaves with creamy-yellow to white centers surrounded by a wide dark green margin. Substance is above average. Origin: ('Neat Splash' x 'Flamboyant') x 'Robert Frost'.

Mine received more sun in 2015 due to the loss of a tree and it seemed to enjoy it for most of the season. It was shaded, late afternoon by the house next door. It was attacked by slugs in late July and August, though there is very little deterioration between the end of July and the end of September.
