For those of you who live within range or are willing to travel we have finally settled on visiting Napa Country Iris Garden this year. The bloom dates and our schedules made it impossible to visit Superstition until after the peak bloom, so....
We are planning a trip to Napa on Saturday April 16th (which is next Saturday). Anyone who wants to join us is welcome...including anyone reading this who has not yet posted (frequently referred to as lurking!
).
The plan is to meet at the garden. They are open from 10-5 and people can arrive whenever they are able. We will figure out a way to meet up when we know who is coming. I will be contacting Napa to see if there is a place where we could have lunch. What worked out well last year was to have a potluck picnic. It gives people time to meet and talk while enjoying the scenery and yummy food.
So far Sherry (Henhouse) and I are confirmed and Barbara (Phillipb2) and a friend are probably going to come. Suzanne (Calif_Sue) is going to try to make it.
